In early 2001, a young man by the name of Gregory Anderson settled his family in the small town of Wolfach, Germany. The Andersons were well known for their sprawling horse farms and prestigious buisness. They built a large ranch on the outskirts of Wolfach, in the Black Forest. They resumed what they had done in Englaned; raised and trained warmbloods for a number of english events, the biggest one grand prix level showjumping. Buisness began to increase steadily, and soon they found that their facility was becoming far too small to accomadate for their clients. So they tore the old barn down, and bought more land, closer to Wolfach.
This new facility was sprawling. By the year of 2007, they became one of the biggest barns in Germany, the Andersons now becoming practically a family name. Things were going extremely well. Soon, professional riders from all over the world were relocating to Germany to get in on the exclusive programs and competitions that Vista Ridge offered. With this demand of buisness, the Andersons expanded their farm again, building a third barn.
But something went terribly wrong. Mid-construction, barn two set on fire. The cause was never discovered. It killed all 72 horses housed there, and 14 barn hands that were caught under burning beams. Several more were injured. The construction on barn 3 was halted instantly, and the farm went into hiatus for unkown reasons.
It is now the year 2010. Gregory Anderson's son, Damian, has decided to re-open the farm. The charred ashes of barn two still remain, but the new barn has been completed. Clients are beginning to flood in with the prestigious farm's re-opening.
But something is going terribly wrong. Clients are staying for only days at a time. Staff are spontaneously leaving for 'unkown reasons'. There is fear in the air. There have been reports of strange happenings at the farm- horses dissapearing, gates left open, and even severe injuries to the horses and staff.
These incidents are becoming more and more frequent. People are worrying over the simplest things. Tragedies on horseback are more common now than ever before. Nobody really knows what's causing all of this. Will you be the one to find out?
